Northwest Missouri State M-Club Hall of Fame
Dr. Al Cade was a part of the Bearcat football program that went from a winless campaign in 1978 to MIAA conference champions in 1979. During his senior season, Al was a key part of a defense that allowed the fewest total yards in a season in Bearcat history. He was a first team All-MIAA selection anchoring the defensive line for the Bearcats and ranks seventh all-time in career tackles with 345.

He was honored by his alma mater as a 2003 M Club Hall of Fame inductee and again in 2013 as a Distinguished Alumni Award recipient. He earned his doctoral degree of Education from Saint Louis University in 2001. Today, he is positively impacting students at Missouri Southern State University where he has held various positions starting as an instructor, faculty athletic representative and now currently serving as the Dean of the School of Education.
