MIAA Press ReleaseKANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University men's and women's tennis teams had 13 student-athletes honored by the MIAA for their academic achievements. Five student-athletes earned Scholar Athlete honors while eight garnered MIAA Honor Roll honors.
Romain Boissinot (3.62) and
Fin Glowick (3.87) each earned Scholar Athlete honors on the men's side. Both are Business Management majors. On the women's side,
Stephanie Mannix (4.0),
Aniek Kolen (3.74) and
Lorena Rivas Jarolim (3.50) also earned Scholar Athlete accolades. All three are Food and Nutriition: Dietetics majors. To be eligible for this award, players must maintain a 3.5 GPA and be named All-MIAA in their respective sport.
The MIAA Academic Honor Roll consists of students who maintain a 3.0 GPA in the classroom through two or more full terms of classes.
