No. 50 Bearcats topple RiverHawks in St. Joe, 4-0

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The No. 50-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team toppled the Northeastern State University RiverHawks at Genesis indoor courts, 4-0.
 
Northwest improved to 8-7 overall, while NSU fell to 5-7 in dual action.
 
The Bearcats took a 1-0 lead by capturing wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The No. 1 pairing of Antonin Leborne and Dominik Wijntjes scored a 6-3 win over NSU's Mansur Khajimuradov and Alexander Edley. The No. 2 duo of Bernardo Henriques and Jules Subra captured a 6-2 victory over NSU's Luis Denda and James Edley.
 
Pavlo Vysotin wasted little time in singles' play as he bested Alexander Edley, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
 
Konstantin Feiel gave Northwest a 3-0 edge with a 6-4, 6-2 pasting of NSU's Khajimuradov.
 
Reigning MIAA player of the week Bernardo Henriques clinched the dual win at No. 4 singles with a 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 victory over NSU's Tomas Aramburu.
