Northwest Missouri State University junior Bernardo Henriques has been named the MIAA North Division Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Henriques (Matosinhos, Portugal) went 3-0 at No. 4 singles as the Bearcat men's tennis squad went 2-1 in dual play.

He gained a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win over William Woods's Thomas Geukemeijer. Henriques posted a 6-2, 6-0 triumph over Nebraska-Kearney's Alex Jaulin. Henriques scored a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Drury's Tristan Stock. He also tallied a doubles' win with Jules Subra at No. 2 doubles vs. Drury's Marco Romano and Oscar Reis.

Henriques has produced nine singles' wins and seven doubles' victories this year.
