The Northwest Missouri State soccer squad cruised to a 4-0 victory over Nebraska-Kearney Sunday afternoon.
 
Both teams were held scoreless in the first half. Northwest had 9 shots and held Nebraska-Kearney to 1.
 
The Bearcats scored the first goal of the match in the 55^th minute. Yesenia Arnau played a ball to Sophie Cissell allowing her to send across to Adell Gore for the goal.
 
Nearly 10 minutes later Kaitlyn Case lined buried a penalty kick to put Northwest up 2-0.
 
Teagan Blackburn scored her 16^th career goal on a cross from Grace Wineinger in the 73^rd minute.
 
Elaina Shromoff assisted Zoie Dible on her first collegiate goal from well outside of the penalty box. Dible got a strike on the ball that carried it over the goalkeeper and into the upper left corner of the net.
 
Northwest topped Nebraska-Kearney in nearly all stats for the matchup. The Bearcats ended with a season high 23 shots, 14 of which were on goal. The Lopers had just 2 shots and 0 on goal.
 
Teagan Blackburn and Adell Gore led the team with four shot attempts each. Sophie Cissell and Kaitlyn Case each tallied three shots.
 
Lily Ellis had another shutout giving her six so far this season.
 
The Bearcats hit the road next week to face Emporia State and Washburn.
