Yesenia Arnau is a 5'2" midfielder/defender from Kansas City, Missouri (Staley). Arnau was the defensive player of the year and earned first-team all-district honors for head coach Johnny Chain. She also tallied second-team all-district and all-conference honorable mention accolades. Arnau was named to the Principals' Honor Roll. She played club with the Kansas City Athletics for coach Alain Matingou.
 
"Yesenia is a solid defender with deceptive speed," Gordon said. "She has been groomed in the holding midfield role over the past two seasons. With her defensive ability and strengthened understanding of the midfield, Yesenia is projected to be a part of both lines."
