The Northwest Missouri State University women's soccer team has signed five future Bearcats as announced today by head coach
Marc Gordon.
The Bearcats will add defender/midfielder Mackenzie Blankenship (Lee's Summit, Mo./Lee's Summit West HS), defender Zoie Dible (Olathe, Kan./Olathe Northwest HS), center back Moira Franck (Monument, Colo./The Classical Academy), midfielder Elaina Shromoff (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) and central defensive midfielder Kintzli Wagner (Kansas City, Mo./St. Piux X HS) to the 2022 roster.
Mackenzie Blankenship (Lee's Summit, Mo./Lee's Summit West HS)
As a junior Blakenship was a part of the Lee's Summit West High School squad that placed fourth in the state for head coach Shaun Owens. Her prep squad won the conference and district titles as a junior. As a freshman, she played the most minutes on the junior varsity squad and saw action with the varsity. She played club for Kansas City Scott Gallagher and their head coach Nacole Neuendorf.
Zoie Dible (Olathe, Kan./Olathe Northwest HS)
Dible was a starting center back on the varsity as a freshman. She helped Olathe West to a third-place finish in the state tournament for head coach Chris Graham. She played club for KC Fusion and coach Carlos Rodrigez.
Moira Franck (Monument, Colo./The Classical Academy)
Franck was three-year varsity letter winner for head coach Blake Galvin. She was named the TCA Women's Soccer MVP in 2021. She helped lead The Classical Academy to the Class 4A state semifinals. She earned first-team all-state and all-conference honors. She was named to the Gazette Preps 2021 Girls' Soccer All-Stars First Team. She played club for Pride ECNL 04 for coach A.J. Adcock.
Elaina Shromoff (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS)
Shromoff was a two-year starter at Lakeville North High School for coach Brian Lehman. She earned three letters in soccer. Lakeville North was ranked as high as No. 5 in the state. Shromoff helped her prep squad reached the 2021 state quarterfinals in Minnesota. She played club for Salvo Soccer Club 04 Navy for coach Stuart Trench.
Kintzli Wagner (Kansas City, Mo./St. Piux X HS)
Wagner tallied all-region honors in her freshman and junior years for head coach Todd Ashby. She was voted her team's MVP as a junior. She notched first-team all-conference status as a junior. She played club for KC Athletics03/04 ECNL-RL for coach Duke Jones.
