MARYVILLE, Missouri - The No. 30-ranked Northwest Missouri State women's tennis team scored a 7-0 win over Lindenwood on the same day the University honored head coach
Mark Rosewell.
The Bearcats won both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to capture a 1-0 lead in the dual.
Northwest dropped only eight games in the singles' portion of play, including a 6-0, 6-0 win from senior
Julie Rinderknech at No. 5.
Northwest improved to 12-5 overall and 3-3 in MIAA play, while Lindenwood fell to 0-10 overall and 0-3 in league duals.

Rosewell took over as Bearcat head coach in 1984 and has led Northwest to 26 MIAA regular season championships (14 men, 12 women), nine MIAA Tournament titles (8 men, 1 women) and 37 NCAA Tournament  appearances (20 men, 17 women). Rosewell is a 27-time MIAA Coach of the Year recipient.
