With a goal in each half, Northwest shutout No. 21 Central Oklahoma in Edmond defeating them 2-0 in its final road match of the regular season.

Sophie Cissell put the Bearcats up 1-0 off an assist from
Kaylie Rock in the 25
th minute. The goal was Cissell's third goal of the season. Rock's assist brought her career total to 12 which ties her for second most assists in a career. She also tied the single season assist record with 7 so far this season.

th minute, Northwest drew a penalty kick.
Kaylie Rock stepped up and sent the ball to the lower right of the net to put the Bearcats up 2-0. With this goal, the Junior forward became the new program record holder for career goals with 19. The previous record of 18 had been set by Victoria Von Mende from 2011-12.

Lily Ellis also topped the record books with her 9
th shutout of the season. She now holds the record for shutouts in a season which was previously held by Kira Lazenby in both the 2008 and 2009 seasons with 8. Ellis also recorded 7 saves in Sunday afternoons match.

Northwest finished the game with 16 shots to Central Oklahoma's 11. The Bearcats also drew 7 corners and held the Bronchos to 3.

Northwest has out-shot its opponents by an average of 11.5 shots per game in every win this season.

The Bearcats improved their record to 8-4-2 (4-3 MIAA). The 'Cats will finish regular season play with four home games.

Northeastern State and Rogers State will travel to Maryville next weekend to face Northwest. The Northeastern State match is set for Friday, followed by the Rogers State match Sunday.
