Cunningham chosen MIAA women's cross country athlete of the week

Northwest Missouri State University senior Caroline Cunningham has been selected as this week's MIAA women's cross country athlete of the week.

Cunningham set the Northwest women's 5K record at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. Cunningham placed 19th overall in the meet with a time of 17:15.2. She was the highest NCAA Div. II finisher in the race.

It is the second time this season, and third time in her career, that she has been named the MIAA's top weekly competitor.
