The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team faced the University of Missouri in an exhibition matchup Wednesday evening. The Tigers took a dominating 70-27 victory over Northwest.
The Bearcats started off strong defensively with a steal on Missouri's initial possession. Northwest would come out in the second half the same way with another turnover as they forced a three-second violation.

Lauren Eiman scored her first collegiate points to put Northwest on the board with a layup.
Northwest was led in scoring by sophomore guard
Molly Hartnett with eight points, followed by sophomore shooting guard
Peyton Kelderman who finished with six points as she drained two 3-pointers. Sophomore guard
Evelyn Vazquez was the third leading scorer for the Bearcats with five points.
The Bearcat women are back in action Sunday at 2 p.m. as they take on Drake in their second exhibition match of the season.
