Story Headlines
- The Northwest Missouri State University men's and women's tennis teams picked up MIAA victories over Nebraska-Kearney on Friday at the Frank Grube Courts in Maryville, Mo.
- The No. 19 ranked Bearcat men, who won 6-3, are now 13-6 overall and 3-0 in conference action. The No. 27 ranked UNK men fall to 18-3 and 4-1 in MIAA play.
- The Northwest women moved to 14-6 overall and 6-2 in MIAA play with a narrow 5-4 victory over UNK. The Lopers are now 19-5 overall and 7-3 in MIAA play.
- The Bearcat men got 2-of-3 doubles points, winning at No. 2 and No. 3. Fin Glowick was the lone double winner on the day, winning with Josef Altmann at No. 3 doubles and at No. 6 singles.
- Romain Boissinot, Alvaro Riveros, Hicham Azaoui and Glowick all got wins in singles play for Northwest.
- On the women's side, Aniek Kolen captured two wins. She won at No. 4 singles and paired with Stephanie Mannix at No. 3 doubles.
- Camila Quesada, Lorena Rivas Jarolim, Kolen and Marianne Hull all won singles points for Northwest.
- The wins were career victory No. 1,002 and 1,003 for head coach Mark Rosewell.
