Northwest Missouri State University junior Clara Peake has captured the MIAA Women's Golfer of the Week award.
 
Peake won the 2026 Spring Regional Preview with a three-round total of 5-under par. She won the individual crown by three shots. Peake tallied seven birdies in the final round, including two of the last three holes to put away the win.
 
Peake had a one-shot lead over Central Oklahoma's Layne Ailshe with three holes to play when Peake kicked it into a higher gear. She birdied the par-4, 326-yard first hole and then capped the tournament in fine fashion by notching another birdie on the par-4, 345-yard third hole.
 
She led the Spring Regional Preview field with 17 birdies in the 54-hole event. Peake posted two of Northwest's top six rounds in program history. In the opening round she fired a two-under par 70 and followed it up with a final round of three-under par 69.
 
Peake is ranked No. 152 in the nation and No. 75 in the central region in the latest collegiate golf rankings presented by clippd. She has an adjusted stroke average of 76.1 through nine tournaments this year.
 
Eight different Bearcat golfers have claimed 20 first-place finishes in the history of Northwest golf. Peake is only the second Bearcat golfer to win a tournament longer than two rounds – joining Paige Hoffman, who won the 2023 MIAA Championship meet.
