Gia Zupancic serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Academics and Compliance and as Northwest's Senior Woman Administrator.
Zupancic was a member of the Bearcat women's golf team from 2014-2018 and earned her bachelor's degree in business management with a minor in sport management.
She also obtained her master's degree from Northwest in applied health and sport science with an emphasis in athletic and recreation administration. She served as a graduate assistant in the Student Success Center.
Following her graduation from Northwest in 2020, Zupancic took a full-time job at Northwest as an academic advisor and success coach in the Student Success Center. After two years in that position, Zupancic was elevated to lead academic advisor and success coach. In that new role, she continued advising a full caseload but added administrative duties and built more connections throughout the Northwest campus. Zupancic advised a variety of majors from the School of Health Science and Wellness, Communication and Mass Media and Natural Sciences.
She resides in Maryville with her bernedoodle, Hank.
