ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The No. 47-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team rolled to a 7-0 dual win Saturday over the Newman University Jets at the Genesis indoor courts.
The Bearcats improved to 2-1 in the MIAA and 10-7 overall. The Jets remain winless at 0-6 overall and 0-3 in league duals.
Northwest gained the doubles' point with success at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The pairing of
Bernardo Henriques and
Jules Subra gained a 6-2 win over Newman's Genaro Dagotto and Enrico Belardo. The duo of Pavlo Gysotin and
Gage Foltz recorded a 6-1 victory over Newman's Noah Smith and Erik Lopez.
The Bearcat men won all six singels' matches in straight sets.
