ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The No. 34-ranked Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis squad continued with its winning ways with a 7-0 shutout of the Newman Jets Saturday at the Genesis indoor courts.

Northwest moved to 14-2 overall and stayed perfect in MIAA dual play at 5-0. Newman fell to 0-4 overall and 0-4 in league action.

The Bearcats did not drop a set and picked up a trio of forfeit wins as the Jets fielded a four-player roster for the dual.

Northwest will match up Sunday against No. 41-ranked Central Oklahoma at 2 p.m. at the Genesis indoor courts St. Joseph.
