MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team knocked off the No. 44-ranked Drury Panthers, 5-2.

The Bearcats evened their dual mark at 7-7 with the win. The Panthers dipped to 7-5 overall with the loss.

Northwest led 1-0 after capturing the doubles' point. Northwest's No. 2 team of
Bernardo Henriques and
Jules Subra topped Drury's Oscar Reis and Marco Romano. The No. 3 squad of
Gage Foltz and
Pavlo Vysotin secured a 7-5 triumph over Drury's Lukas Reiber.

Vysotin scored a three-set win at No. 2 singles vs. Drury's Matthieu Gachon, 7-5, 3-6, 6-2.

Henriques notched a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles vs. Drury's Tristan Stock.

Subra went the distance with a three-set victory at No. 5 singles over Drury's Rieber, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0.
