HAYS, Kan. – The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team collected its ninth straight win with a 7-0 shutout at Fort Hays State University Friday in an MIAA dual match.

The Bearcats moved to 10-1 overall and 2-0 in MIAA matches. FHSU slipped to 8-3 overall and 0-1 in league duals.
Northwest began its clean sweep of Fort Hays State with three wins in doubles for a 1-0 lead.
The Bearcat women did not drop a set in winning all six singles matches in straight sets. Northwest allowed FHSU to capture only 22 games in the six singles' matches.
Michelle Kostadinova gave up only one game in her victory at No. 6 singles.
Polina Agapitova collected a 6-0, 6-2 triumph at No. 5 singles.
Majra Djokic (No. 2 singles),
Chiharu Ito (No. 3 singles),
Polina Gontaryk (No. 4 singles) and Agapitova each won their ninth consecutive singles' matches in the dual.
