O'FALLON, Ill. - The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team won its seventh straight dual with a 6-1 road victory over McKendree University Friday afternoon.
Northwest took its season record to 8-1 and McKendree fell to 6-9 overall.
Northwest swept all three doubles matches for the first time this season. It marked the seventh time Northwest has captured the doubles point.
Northwest picked up five singles' victories to earn the dual win.
Majra Djokic scored a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles vs. McKendree's Kristina Fogomazova.
Chiharu Ito gained a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles over Ivana Milkova.
Laura Prieto Sieiro locked up a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles vs. Keira Greefs.
Polina Gontaryk posted a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles against Alessia Baiardi.
Polina Agapitova earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles vs. McKendree's Emmy Zsigmond.
