MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Bemidji State University Beavers scored a 1-0 victory over the Northwest Missouri State University women's soccer team at the Bearcat Pitch on Sunday.

Close to 2nd minute of the game Katrina Barthelt made an unassisted goal for Beavers, who then kept their 1-0 lead for the remainder of the game. Bemidji State controlled much of the first half, outshooting Northwest seven-to-two. Northwest picked up in second half putting up four shots compared to two for the Beavers, but was unable to break through Bemidji States' defense, remaining scoreless.
 
Goalkeeper Lily Ellis tallied 3 saves in the first half and two saves in the second half, giving her a total of five for the game, raising her career total to 275.
