HAYS, Kan. - The Northwest Missouri State University volleyball team recorded a 3-0 sweep of Cameron to complete its weekend of action at the FHSU Tiger Invitational.
Northwest won by set scores of 25-9, 25-14 and 25-14. Northwest is 2-1 on the year, while Cameron is 0-3.

Abby Bulthuis bolstered the Bearcat attack with a team-high 13 kills as she hit .500 on 20 swings. Bulthuis tied a career-high with 13 kills. It is the fifth double-figure kill match of her Bearcat career.
Ella Caffery added a double-double 36 assists and 12 digs. Caffery also contributed with five service aces, five kills and a block.

Karsen VanScoy netted a team-best 15 digs for her third double-figure dig match of the season.

Northwest did not trail in the match that lasted nine minutes past an hour. Northwest hit .343 for the match with 51 kills. Cameron was limited to .048 hitting with 15 kills and 11 attack errors.

The Bearcats will be in action next weekend in Springfield, Mo., at the Drury Tournament. Northwest will take on Lane, Drury, East Central and Cameron.
