SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team rallied to gain a 4-3 road victory over the Augustana Vikings Thursday at the Huether Match Pointe indoor courts.

Vini Rodrigues pulled out a three-set win at No. 4 singles to give the Bearcats a 4-3 edge in the dual.
The Vikings gained the upper-hand in doubles play by gaining victories at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.Â
The Bearcats responded with four singles victories, including the three-set triumph from Rodrigues to move to 2-0 in dual play this season.
Rodrigues came back from a set down to claim a win over Augie's Conrad Koch. Koch won the first set, 6-4. But Rodrigues dug deep and put together a pair of 6-3, 6-3 triumphs to gain the dual victory.
Dominik Wijntjes picked up a straight-sets win at No. 2 singles over Augie's Jose Velasco, 6-1, 7-5.
Antonin Leborne notched a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 5 singles over Augie's Clayton Poppenga.
Niccolo Chiriatti gained a 6-4, 6-0 triumph at No. 6 singles against Augie's Joseph Plachy.
The Bearcat men are 8-0 all-time vs. Augustana, including dual wins in each of the past five seasons.
