SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team improved to 3-0 with a 5-2 neutral court win over the Maryville Saints.
The Bearcats gained a 1-0 edge by gaining victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The No. 2 pairing of
Rafal Bednarczuk and
Vini Rodrigues posted a 6-3 win. The No. 3 doubles duo of
Antonin Leborne and
Dominik Wijntjes secured a 6-4 victory.
The Bearcats took care of the Saints in singles play by notching four victories. Bednardzuk got the win at No. 1 singles. Wijntjes posted a three-set win at No. 2 singles. Leborne also notched a three-set win at No. 4 singles.
Vini Rodrigues secured a straight-sets win at No. 5 singles.
