LIBERTY, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team recorded a 5-2 triumph over the William Jewell Cardinals Friday afternoon.

The Bearcats moved to 1-0 on the season with some strong singles play after dropping the doubles point to the Cardinals.

Northwest used a pair of three-set wins from Dominik Wijntjes at No. 2 singles and Luc Mascitti at No. 3 singles to power the dual victory.
