PITTSBURG, Kan. - The Northwest Missouri State University volleyball team won its third match in a row with a 3-0 sweep of the Pittsburg State Gorillas Saturday at Lance Arena.

Northwest won by set scores of 26-24, 25-15 and 25-10. The Bearcats are 12-7 overall and 6-3 in MIAA play. 

Kasidy Mohwinkle paced the Bearcat attack with 12 kills and she hit .375 against the PSU defense. It is her eighth double-figure kill match this season.

Ella Caffery delivered a double-double with 34 assists and 15 digs. It is her seventh double-double of the season and 16th of her career. 

Northwest went 2-0 with two sweeps this weekend of Newman and PIttsburg State on the road. Northwest will travel to Missouri Western next Saturday.
