TOPEKA, Kan. - The No. 16-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team rallied for a 4-3 road dual win over the No. 38-ranked Washburn University Ichabods.
Northwest moved its MIAA/GAC dual mark to 2-0 and improved to 7-5 overall on the year.
The Bearcat men had to rally after dropping the doubles' point to the Ichabods.

Mark Rosewell's squad was up to the task as the Bearcats won four of the six singles' matches, including a pair of three-set marathons.
No. 16-ranked
Andrea Zamurri dispatched No. 55-ranked Tim Hammes at No. 1 singles in three sets. Zamurri dropped the opening set, 6-2, but bounced back and won, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4.
No. 65-ranked
Fabien Calloud secured a 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles over WU's Daniel Bird.
Jan Skerbatis came through with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles against WU's Moritz Pieper.
Simon Birgerson scored the clinching triumph with a three-set win over WU's Daniel Harkin at No. 6 singles. Harkin captured the opening set, 6-4. However, Birgerson was undeterred and pulled out wins of 6-4, 7-5 to lift the Bearcats to the dual victory.
