KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC has announced the 2022-23 NABC Division II All-America Team. The All-America honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division II.
Senior guard
Diego Bernard is the fifth different Bearcat to earn NABC All-America honors in the history of the program. Bernard helped lead Northwest to a 31-3 record along with the MIAA regular season and tournament titles. Bernard has been named the MIAA Player of the Year, the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year and the D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year. He also claimed D2CCA Second-Team All-America honors.
Bernard led the Bearcats in scoring (16.3 ppg), rebounds (165), assists (117), steals (72), field goals made (196) and free throws made (122).Â
