SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The No. 7-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to Southwest Baptist University Thursday at the Cooper Indoor Courts.

SBU took a 1-0 lead in doubles by scoring victories at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 doubles match was stopped with Northwest's
Fabien Calloud and
Michael Delebois holding a 6-5 advantage.

The dual came down to the No. 6 singles match between Northwest's
Vinnie Rodrigues and SBU's Mikar Fisher. Fisher pulled out a three-set win with a 6-4 victory in the third. Rodrigues captured the opening set, 7-5, but Fisher bounced back to take the second, 6-3.
