The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat and University of Nebraska-Kearney soccer teams battled to a 0-0 tie today in Kearney, Neb.
Adell Gore put up a team-best three shots, of which two were on-goal. Northwest managed to get 13 shots (six on-goal) compared to the Lopers seven shots (three on-goal).
Lily Ellis provided three saves to move her career total to 104.
Ellis gained her 15th career shutout and is one away from the school record of 16 set by Kira Lazenby, who played at Northwest from 2008 to 2009.
The Bearcats are 3-4-3 on the season, 0-2-1 in the MIAA.
Next up, the Bearcats will play host to Emporia State Friday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m.
