KEARNEY, Neb. - The No. 6-ranked University of Nebraska-Kearney Lopers notched a 3-0 win over the No. 10-ranked Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats in volleyball action Friday night at the Health & Sports Center on the UNK campus.
The Lopers won by set scores of 25-19, 27-25, 25-12. UNK moved its season mark to 17-1 overall and 7-1 in the MIAA, while Northwest dropped to 11-4 overall and 5-2 in league play. Northwest is 4-3 in matches against top 25 foes this season.
The Lopers hit .302 for the match and Northwest hit .128. UNK had 48 kills to 37 for Northwest. The Lopers also had more digs, 53-44.

Jaden Ferguson led the Bearcats with 10 kills and hit .321 for the match.
Kristen Ford secured a team-high 12 digs.
Alyssa Rezac secured a team-best 33 assists.
Avery Kemp was credited with five block assists.
The match swung in the second set that featured 19 ties and eight lead changes. The Bearcats had two set points at 24-23 and 25-24, but were unable to convert the opportunities to even the match. UNK would prevail in the second, 27-25.
Northwest will be back in action Saturday at 3 p.m. at Fort Hays State.
