ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The No. 18-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team posted a 5-2 dual win over William Woods University this afternoon on the indoor courts at the Genesis Health Club.

The Bearcats won their eighth straight dual match to improve to 14-4 on the season.

For the 10th time this season, Northwest secured the doubles point. Northwest won at No. 1 doubles with Fillippo Piranomonte and Andrea Zamurri and at No. 3 doubles from Franco Oliva and Fabien Calloud.

Northwest tallied wins at No. 1 singles (Zamurri), No. 3 singles (Calloud), No. 5 singles (Simon Birgerson) and No. 6 singles (Martin Sanchez).

Northwest has completed its regular season and will compete in the MIAA Tournament April 27-28 in Edmond, Okla.
