SEARCY, Ark. - The No. 14-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team tallied a 4-2 non-conference victory over the Harding University Bisons on Wednesday afternoon.
Northwest (3-2 overall) handed Harding (7-1) its first loss of the season.
The Bisons took an early 1-0 lead by taking the doubles point. Harding won both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches. The third doubles match was stopped at 4-4.

Mark Rosewell's squad turned it around in the singles competition. Northwest picked up wins in four of the five matches that were completed to secure the 4-2 dual win.
No. 16-ranked
Andrea Zamurri notched a straight-sets win at No. 1 singles over Harding's Arthur Bellan.Â
No. 6-ranked
Franco Oliva went the distance and scored a three-set win over Harding's Dani Ortiz, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.
Mason Maier posted a 6-2, 7-5 win over Harding's Bryce Walker at No. 5 singles, and
Paul-Antoine Brazet secured a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Harding's Milosh Petrovic at No. 6 singles.
The Bearcat men are off until Monday, March 14, when Northwest will play host to Cameron at 1 p.m. on the Frank Grube Courts at the Rosewell Tennis Complex.
