The Northwest Missouri State soccer team closed out its regular season with a 1-0 win over Missouri Western Sunday afternoon.

With today's victory, the Bearcats have now recorded the longest consecutive win streak in Northwest soccer history with seven straight triumphs.

Hannah Stirling scored the lone goal of the match at the 4:55 mark off an assist from
Adell Gore. Stirling tallied her fifth goal of the season and Gore tallied her second assist of the season.

The Northwest offense was dominant in the first half with 12 shots and the defense did not allow Missouri Western a single one. The Bearcats also drew four corner kicks in the half.

In the second half, the Griffons had four shots to the Bearcats three.

Northwest had 15 total shots in the match.
Kaylie Rock had a team-high six shots with three on goal. The trio of
Teagan Blackburn,
Hannah Stirling, and
Letycia Bonifacio all had two shots.

Lily Ellis recorded yet another shutout to give her 12 on the season. In today's shutout, Ellis also recorded two saves to give her 52 for the year.

The Bearcats will host a first round MIAA tournament match next Sunday, October 30.
