The Northwest Missouri State soccer squad secured its 11th win of the season Friday afternoon at the Bearcat Pitch.

With 11 wins this season, this Bearcat team is now tied for second for most wins in a season. The school record of 13 was set during the 2021 season.

The Bearcats had the lead for over 89 minutes as they scored 38 seconds into the start of the match.
Hannah Stirling scored her fourth goal this season off an assist from
Kaylie Rock. Rock tallied her eleventh assist this season with the pass to Stirling.

At the 38:35 mark, the Bearcats increased their lead to 2-0 as Adell scored her fourth goal of the season. Gore was assisted by both
Maddie Taylor and
Lucia Fernandez who each recorded their first assists of the season.

Adell Gore scored once again for her fifth goal of the season in the 54
th minute. This time Gore scored off an assist from
Kaylie Rock. The assist was number twelve for Rock on the year.

Lily Ellis had five saves in the match and increased her shutout record to eleven this season. She remains on top as the Division II shutout leader for the 2022 season.

With the win against Missouri Southern, Northwest has now tied the longest consecutive win streak in school history with six. Northwest had six consecutive wins between the 2008-2009 seasons.

The Bearcats (11-4-2, 7-3 MIAA) are back in action Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. as they take on Missouri Western in their final regular season match of the season.
