MARYVILLE, Missouri - The No. 18-ranked Northwest Missouri State University volleyball team recorded a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Fort Hays State University Tigers Friday night at Bearcat Arena.
Northwest (11-2 overall, 5-2 MIAA North) extended its win streak to five in a row with a 25-16, 25-15, 25-20 triumph over Fort Hays State.
Northwest's
Olivia Dir led the way with 11 kills.
Alyssa Rezac was credited with a match-high 32 assists.
Hannah Koechl tallied a team-high 17 digs.
Jaden Ferguson and
Rachel Sturdevant each posted three blocks.
Northwest hit .243 for the match, while Missouri Western hit .084 with 21 kills and 13 attack errors. Northwest notched 42 kills against 17 attack errors.
The Bearcats will wrap up its home spring season Saturday at 3 p.m. against the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
