The Northwest Missouri State soccer team fell to the Missouri Western Griffons, 1-0, Friday afternoon. The Bearcats dropped to 1-3-1 on the season.

The match was a back and forth battle until the Griffons netted the lone goal early in the second half. The Bearcats faced tight defensive pressure for the rest of the match and could not answer.

Northwest will take on Washburn on Sunday afternoon for their final home game of the season. Kick off is set for 1 p.m.
