MARYVILLE, Missouri - The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team scored its 37th consecutive dual victory over the Missouri Western State University Griffons Tuesday on the Frank Grube Courts at the Mark Rosewell Tennis Center.

The Bearcats posted the 4-3 dual victory to move to 7-4 overall and 4-1 in MIAA matches. The Griffons fell to 8-3 overall and 2-1 in MIAA play. Missouri Western came into the dual ranked No. 5 in the region, while Northwest was ranked No. 9.

Northwest took a 1-0 lead in doubles with victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Northwest's No. 2 doubles pairing of Julia Aliseda and Vera Alenicheva took down MWSU's Rhea Singh and Claudia Iglesias, 6-4. It was the fifth straight doubles win for Aliseda and Alenicheva.
