MARYVILLE, Missouri - The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team moved to 2-0 on the year with a 7-0 victory over visiting Southwest Minnesota State University today at the Frank Grube Courts at the
Mark Rosewell Tennis Center.
Northwest staked itself to a 1-0 lead by taking victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. The Bearcats were able to post six straight-sets wins in singles to close out the dual victory.
The Bearcat women will be back in action Friday with the men as both squads take on Drury. The Bearcats and Panthers will dual at 8 p.m. in the Cooper indoor courts in Springfield, Missouri.
