SPRINGFIELD, Missouri - The Drury Panthers women's tennis team snared a 5-2 victory over the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats Friday night at the Cooper Indoor Tennis Courts.

Northwest's Vera Alenicheva, the reigning MIAA women's tennis player of the week, tallied wins at both No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles to help the Bearcats. Julia Aliseda tallied Northwest's other victory at No. 3 singles.

Northwest (2-1 overall) will take to the courts again Friday, March 12, at Southwest Baptist.
