Northwest men's tennis bounces back with 4-3 victory over Harding

MARYVILLE, Missouri - The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team bounced back with a 4-3 win today over the Harding Bison on the Frank Grube Courts at the Mark Rosewell Tennis Center.

Northwest moves to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the MIAA this season. Harding is 5-3 overall and 0-1 in MIAA play.

No. 1 singles player Andrea Zamurri improved his spring record to 9-0 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Harding's Arthur Bellan.

Northwest's No. 2 player Fabien Calloud took his spring mark to 8-1 with a three-set win over Harding's Dan Ortiz. Calloud won by scores of 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

No. 3 singles featured Northwest's Franco Oliva topping Harding's Morgan Salvan, 6-2, 6-2.

Northwest's Agustin Velasco posted a straight-sets win at No. 6 singles over Harding's Bryce Walker, 6-1, 6-4.
