The No. 14 Winona State softball team rolled Northwest Missouri State, 8-0, in an afternoon contest in St. Joseph. The Bearcats dropped to 0-2 at the Missouri Western Hy-Vee Classic and 5-5 on the season.
Jacee Winn was 2-for-3 at the plate while
Abby Nolte and
Olivia Daugherty also recorded hits to make up the four Bearcat hits in the game. Nolte and
Kaitlyn Weis both drew walks as well.Â
Northwest is back in action in a 10 a.m. Sunday morning in a matchup with Bemidji State.Â
