Northwest has already played Missouri Western once this year, as the Bearcats won a 2-1 match in Maryville early in the regular season. Bearcats Enter Regional Rankings
Northwest garnered regional attention for their efforts this season, ranked sixth in the first regional rankings released by NCAA Division II. The Bearcats own a win over No. 5 Central Oklahoma and a tie against No. 1 Central Missouri.
