MARYVILLE, Mo. - The No. 9-ranked Northwest Missouri State University volleyball squad rolled to its nine consecutive victory with a 3-0 sweep of Emporia State in the Hughes Fieldhouse.
Northwest won by set scores of 25-15, 25-15 and 25-10.
Northwest hit an outstanding .512 with 51 kills and only seven errors in 86 attacks. Emporia State was limited to .119 hitting with 28 kills and 16 errors on 101 swings.
A quartet of Bearcats reached double figures in kills. Payton Kirchhoeefer led the way with 11 kills (.375).
Jaden Ferguson (.909),
Abby Brunssen (.667) and
Kelsey Havel (.350) each tallied 10 kills. Havel secured a double-double with 15 digs.
Alysaa Rezac registered 28 assists and
Maddy Ahrens earned 14 assists in the victory.Â
