The Bearcats (17-16, 13-8 MIAA) are coming off a non-conference loss to Pittsburg State on Tuesday at T-Bones Ballpark in Kansas City that snapped Northwest's six-game winning streak. Northwest sits two games out of first place in the MIAA standings in a tie for fourth place with Lindenwood.

Junior first baseman Connor Quick has a team-high 17-game on-base streak. Quick (.392) continues to assert himself in the MIAA's top-10 best individual batting averages at No. 6. Quick also controls the No. 2 spot among the MIAA leaders in on-base percentage (.473).

Other notable streaks include junior infielder Calvin Rudolph's team-leading 13-game hitting band, his best of the 2019 season. Quick is close behind with a 10-game hitting streak.

On the bump, junior Quintin Van Ackeren leads Northwest pitching with 54 innings pitched, allowing 36 runs (28 earned) on 65 hits and has a team-high 47 strikeouts. Van Ackeren holds the second best ERA among Bearcat pitchers (4.67).

Senior Trevor Dudar holds the Northwest all-time saves record with 21. Dudar has recorded seven saves this season. Dudar has pitched 20 innings with 32 strikeouts.

Missouri Western (14-15, 11-10 MIAA) enters the matchup with Northwest coming off a 2-1 series defeat to Emporia State.
