EDMOND, Oklahoma - The No. 7-ranked University of Central Oklahoma women's tennis team registered a 5-2 dual win over the No. 19-ranked Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats at the Oak Tree Tennis Center on Sunday.

Northwest's Irene Recuenco scored a big win at No. 2 singles when she knocked off No. 4-ranked Isabella Dunlap in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Recuenco, ranked No. 31 in the nation in singles, improves to 15-8 on the year.

Julie Rinderknech picked up the other Bearcat singles' win on the day at No. 5 singles with a 7-6, 7-6 triumph over Sarah Van Eeckhoudt.

Northwest falls to 11-5 overall and 2-3 in MIAA action while UCO moves to 11-2 overall and 5-0 in league dual action.
