EDMOND, Oklahoma – The Northwest Missouri State University women's soccer team had an off night and dropped an 8-0 decision on the road against Central Oklahoma Friday night.
A fast start by UCO gave the Bronchos three goals in the first 14 minutes. The Bronchos eventually built a 5-0 lead at the half. UCO added to the score in the second half with three more goals to secure the win, 8-0.
The Bearcats fall to 4-8-3 overall and 2-4-2 in conference play. They will travel to Wichita, Kansas Sunday to face Newman beginning at 2 p.m.
NOTES: The 8-0 loss marks the most goals the Bearcats have allowed since an 8-1 loss at Nebraska-Omaha on Oct. 27, 2001. Freshman
