Key Northwest Innings
- Adams led off the fourth with a single to left and went to second on a Figg walk. After a pitching change, Holler hit an 0-2 pitch into right for an RBI single, driving in Adams. Hrdlicka drove in Figg with a sacrifice fly to right in the next at bat to put Northwest up, 2-1.
- In the fifth, Barratt hit a single up the middle to lead off and Rycraft laid down a sacrifice bunt to move him up to second. Fort then drove an 0-2 pitch back up the middle for an RBI single, scoring Barratt.
- Barratt started the seventh with an infield single. Rycraft squared around to bunt but was hit by a pitch to put two runners on. Fort moved both runners up on a sacrifice bunt and Adams reached on a fielder's choice, scoring Barratt from third. Missouri Western thne committed a balk to score Rycraft to make it 5-2 Bearcats.
