Story Headlines- The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team dropped a 3-2 decision to Lindenwood University on Friday afternoon in St. Charles, Mo., at the Lou Brock Sports Complex.

Bryce Shea pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in relief of Hietpas. Pablo got the final two outs of the seventh without allowing a hit. Shea closed out the eighth allowing just one hit. each struck out a batter.

Jake Lewis was 2-for-2 on the day with a double and a walk. He scored Northwest's run in the seventh inning.

Aaron Barratt was 1-for-1 with a pinch hit double. He scored the Bearcat's ninth inning run.

Kolby Greenslade was 1-for-4 with an RBI single in the seventh inning.

Key Northwest Innings-
Jake Lewis started the seventh with a single. After a strikeout, he moved up to second on a groundout and was able to advance to third on a passed ball. Greenslade hit an infield single to second, scoring Lewis to make it 1-0 Northwest.
- The Bearcats added another run in the ninth, capitalizing on a Lindenwood wild pitch. Barratt, who started the inning with a pinch hit double to left center scored on the errant pitch with
Nick Howard at bat.
