Key Northwest Statistics- Northwest got single runs in the first, third and fifth innings before tacking on two in the seventh. The Bearcats also scored one in the ninth.
- Northwest finished the day with 10 hits and one errors.
- Lindenwood scored one in the fourth and added two in the ninth. The Lions collected eight hits but committed three errors, leading to two unearned runs.

- Caenepeel worked perfect first, second, fifth, sixth and seventh innings on the mound. He recorded 13 straight outs between the fourth and eight innings.
Key Northwest Innings- Fort capitalized on a leadoff walk in the first and came around to score on a Hrdlicka single to make it 1-0 Northwest.
- Adams singled with one out and scored on a two-out Hrdlicka single in the third inning, pushing the lead to 2-0.
- Gotta turned a one-out walk in the fifth into another run. He moved to second and then to third on wild pitches and scored on a Lewis single.
- With one out in the seventh, Hrdlicka singled and went to second on a groundout. Barratt reached on an error which allowed Hrdlicka to score from second and Barratt to reach second. After a pitching change, Handzlik doubled to score Barratt to make it 5-1.
- In the ninth, Barratt hit a solo home run with one out to push the lead to 6-1.
