- Washburn scored single runs in the first, fourth and fifth innings. The Ichabods finished the day with eight hits and one error.

- The Ichabods' Nick Silva went 7.2 innings for his third win of the year. He did not allow a walk with seven strikeouts.
Key Northwest Innings- Northwest's best inning offensively came in the top of the second. Handzlik and Lewis hit back-to-back singles to two on with no outs. Barratt came up next and reached on a bunt single to load the bases. But Washburn got a flyout that wasn't far enough to tag up for the first out and was able to get a grounder back to the pitcher to force Handzlik out at the plate. A strikeout ended the Bearcats' chance in the second.
- Caenepeel worked a perfect third inning, retiring the Ichabods on just 10 pitches.
